I Was a Child Poet. And a Bad One.

In which John shares some of his early writing, including a poem called “Bio Poem” that is well and truly humiliating in its lack of quality. I also discover and share many items from my past, including my old report cards and some Brotherhood 2.0 memorabilia. Also, I celebrate some good news: The Fault in Our Stars has been named one of the ten best books of 2012 by the editors at Amazon: http://t.co/TaDb008x

Check out the de Grummond Collection on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/de-Grummond-Childrens-Literature-Collection/103…

(And yes, this means that any interested researchers will be able to go to the collection and look through dozens of different drafts of each of my novels, read the editorial correspondence between Julie and me, etc. The de Grummond Collection is an amazing resource, and I feel very lucky that my work will be part of it.)

The Fault in Our Stars movie production update!

Check it out on Hypable!

An excerpt:

“The book I most want to do right now, because I’m the closest being ready to do it, is The Fault in Our Stars,” Godfrey told us. “It is the best book, it makes you rip your guts out, it makes you want to go out and live a better life. I love it, I can’t wait to make it.”

“I’m producing it, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, who wrote 500 Days of Summer, wrote the script – it’s brilliant. I’m getting ready to hire a director, we’ve got all the actresses you would ever want to be in it want to play Hazel Grace. So I’m excited about that.”

imperialjellyfish:

“I’m making this video saying I’m sorry for spelling ‘Tuesday’ wrong and yes, I know it’ll be the top comment forever on this video because I did that.”

Just pointing out Hank’s grave error that he pointed out.

Nerdfighters, help please!

Can any of you nerdfighters who own any t-shirts from dftba.com tell me about their sizing?

I’m usually an XS but I don’t want the t-shirts I order to be tightly fitted. Should I get S or M? (also, what’s the difference between the unisex and ladies cut? on the website it says the ladies’ isn’t fitted..?)
